Noria/House Hael's Estate
Noria was a nice place. Beautiful coast, booming economy and a place for everyone. Of all the provinces, Noria was one that the Jarl of Kriege rather enjoyed visiting. He trotted through the busy streets of the city atop his shire horse along with his unit of 6 heavily armoured horsemen to guard him. He had his usual traveling gear with a simple shirt and pants, topped off with a gambeson jacket and chainmail tunic with his ornate antler-hilt dagger and the infamous sword of Kriege on his belt around his hips. Coupled with his enormous horse, imposing figure and very intimidating units flanking him his presence carried weight. Several people made sure to get out of his way, noble and commoner alike.
He had sent word long before to the head of House Hael, one of the families in charge of Noria that he was quite familiar with and the first on his list for his grand plan. Now he was in the city and a couple hundred meters from their estate. He stopped by their entrance and gave his identity. Things seemed a little tense around the estate. Of course the Jarl hadn't heard of the attempt on the young lord's life a week or two ago. They opened the gates and he rode his enormous horse to the entrance, letting the stable boy lead his horse and the horses of his men to the stable. Making sure his outfit was presentable he entered the estate, his left hand resting on the golden pommel of his ancient sword.
His tall figure strode through the lobby, until he came to a halt and awaited the lord of the estate or one of his representatives to come meet him. As he waited he looked around, enjoying the peaceful sounds around the estate and the distant echo of the city's goings-on.
